Deaysia | Alvarez High School Class of 2016

After neglecting this blog for over a year now, it's time I get back into it.

I can't think of a better way to kickstart my photography blog than with this Santa Cruz Boardwalk senior portait shoot! Check out Deaysia, and all the fun we had during her shoot!

Doneesha & Donaesha | Greenfield High School Class of 2013

When their mom called me about senior portraits, it wasn’t until towards the end of our conversation that she said, “…and there’s two."

I pause. Silence. I was confused, thinking are we talking two locations, two outfits, two cd’s, two…?

She then says, “There’s two of them. They’re twins….”.

OHHH OK, TWINS!!! I was so excited for this shoot. I do have a little bit of experience photographing twins (my other half is a twin;) but I’ve never had the opportunity to shoot twin senior portraits! And these two young ladies are absolutely gorgeous and so much fun to shoot.

Jonquis | Seaside High School Class of 2013

Jonquis is a basketball player so naturally his love for the sport needed to be incorporated into his senior portraits. I felt like jumping up and down in excitement when his mom shared their ideas for the shoot. Love it!

Chantelle | Seaside High School Class of 2013

It's been a busy time for me so my schedule was limited to a few portrait sessions here and there. Thankfully, Chantelle's mom was so patient with me and my tricky schedule... and I'm so happy it worked out! The sun was out and Chantelle was ready for the camera!

Jimmy | Monterey High School Class of 2013

Lots of fun shooting this young man for his senior portraits. He came ready with props and everything to tell the world who he is and what he does.

Check out Jimmy...

Melinda | North Salinas High School Class of 2013

She wanted a "different" location for her senior portraits and she ended up picking the perfect spot. It was so serene and beautiful at Jacks Peak for Melinda's senior portaits... the perfect match for her.

Love those dimples :)
