Never too busy

I had been a bit busy with life and other obligations so I decided to temporarily keep my schedule clear of photo sessions... until Hawanya contacted me and mentioned that she hadn't taken family portraits since the twins were infants. How could I say no to these little faces?!

And this little guy stole my heart that morning. His vibrant energy and his enthusiasm for having his photos taken were more than any photographer could ask for. If Hawanya hadn't told me, I would have never guessed he usually doesn't like being in front of the camera. That was a surprise to me!

Of course I had to get a few of just the two of them. Love this one of Hawanya and Kenny.

Springtime has arrived

Spring brought us the sunshine and fields of yellow wildflowers.

So happy our first location we originally planned for was closed, that we decided to go with Plan B. We couldn't have ended up at a better spot for April's Easter photos of the kids... So cute!

Sugar and spice and everything nice

…That’s what little girls are made of.

Rachel and Javier are expecting their baby girl in just a couple short months...

As I photographed Rachel for her solo shots throughout the morning, Javier was just off camera in the backgroud, with a smile on his face as he watched her and continuously commented how beautiful she is.
